Description

The MRS De­vel­op­ers Stu­dio was de­vel­oped as a pro­gram­ming tool for all our CAN prod­ucts. Its user-friendly in­ter­face sup­ports pro­gram­ming with the graph­i­cal user in­ter­face as well as C code de­sign for more com­plex ap­pli­ca­tions.
All our CAN prod­ucts in­clude a con­stantly ac­tive CAN boot­loader which sup­ports pro­gram up­dates (re-flash­ing) via CAN bus at any time even when the de­vice is op­er­at­ing.

Our graph­i­cal pro­gram­ming tool is sim­i­lar to FUP (Funk­tion­s­plan) per IEC61131. The ad­van­tage is that in-depth pro­gram­ming skills are not re­quired. A basic un­der­stand­ing of dig­i­tal tech­nol­ogy is suf­fi­cient to cre­ate pro­fes­sional pro­grams with MRS De­vel­op­ers Stu­dio.

Function

The MRS De­ve­l­o­pers Stu­dio in­cludes the Eagle graph­i­cal user in­ter­face and the MCU Flas­her. The MCU Flas­her also sup­ports up­load­ing of files (.s19) which were cre­ated with Code­war­rier. An in­di­vid­ual Code­war­rier li­cense is only re­quired if the code size ex­ceeds 32 kB. A new .s19-File can be up­loaded (flashed) via the USB-CAN in­ter­face and CAN boot­loa­der.

Com­pat­i­ble USB CAN in­ter­faces are PEAK IPEH-002021, Vec­tor VN16XX and Sont­heim CAN­fox.
