CAN/RS485 Gateway

Description

This com­pact, au­to­mo­tive-grade CAN/RS485 Gate­way mod­ule sup­ports the ex­ten­sion of ex­ist­ing CAN con­trollers but can also be used as a stand­alone au­to­mo­tive con­troller. Pro­gram­ming is pos­si­ble with the graph­i­cal de­sign tool CAN­graph plus suit­able flash pro­gram­ming tool or with a C code de­vel­op­ment sys­tem.

Function

Freescale HCS08 proces­sor with flash-tech­nol­ogy (can be re­pro­grammed many times).
CAN high speed, CAN low speed, and RS485 sup­port com­mu­ni­ca­tion with other mod­ules and en­sure easy in­te­gra­tion into ex­ist­ing sys­tems.
6 dig­i­tal out­puts and/or ana­log in­puts (pro­gram­ma­ble).
2 dig­i­tal out­puts and/or dig­i­tal in­puts (pro­gram­ma­ble).
6 ad­di­tional ana­log in­puts.
Re­verse po­lar­ity pro­tec­tion and tran­sient pro­tec­tion.
All out­puts are equipped with power high side dri­vers and over­load pro­tec­tion with dig­i­tal sta­tus in­di­ca­tor.
The pow­er­ful proces­sor sup­ports CANopen and SAE J1939 com­pli­ance.
